Bryan Wright

real estate guide

Johnny Cash’s “I’ve been everywhere, man” pretty much sums up Bryan Wright. Bryan is a Fort Wort native and retired band director–a career that took him and his educator wife, Lisa, through several stops in Central and North Texas, almost all of which were county seats.

Bryan graduated from Texas State University (Southwest Texas, as it was called back then), and he met Lisa during their first teaching jobs in Georgetown, Texas. They married in Austin and lived in Georgetown, Waxahachie, and McKinney before coming home to Fort Worth, where Bryan finished his band career at Paschal High School.

Bryan and Lisa have always shared a love of real estate and design. Together they have subcontracted custom homes and renovated a 100-year-old cottage style home that was photographed for Better Homes and Gardens (full disclosure–it never made the magazine, but it was thrilling just the same). Their current renovation project–a 1956 midcentury home in East Fort Worth–will keep them busy for the foreseeable future.

Bryan is a licensed real estate agent and residential appraiser, and he is excited to be a part of the team at 6th Ave Homes. No matter where you are looking in the greater DFW area, Bryan knows the market and can help you find the dream home that is perfect for you.

In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with Lisa and their two dogs, Tucker and Lola, and he still finds time to gig every now and then, whether it’s playing in a community band or playing drum set and keyboards during an informal jam session with his family.
