I was in mortgage banking for 10+ years. I owned a law firm/title company, real estate brokerage, tax lending company and debt buying company. I sold out of my businesses in 2011 and started trying to listen to and follow God. He started leading me to projects, opportunities and relationships where I could add value in non-profits and small businesses. Since then, I have just been trying to follow God wherever he wants to use me. It has granted me a lot of freedom and has been fun, though sometimes an uncomfortable way to live. I hope to have the faith and resolve to live this way forever. If I get it “wrong” I will have lived a good life and glorified God in the process. The greatest danger I see is the anxiety that comes from the uncertainty about tomorrow. Interestingly, we all have uncertainty about tomorrow. It is just that I previously used long range planning and an arbitrary amount of material assets to counter my anxiety. Though I still plan and have material assets, I no longer place my faith in them to give me peace.

Im excited that one of the businesses I get to work with is 6th Ave! I am honored that Jamey and Jimmy asked me to be a part of their growing tribe and I love helping them figure out how to help their tribe members leverage their strengths to accomplish their goals in life. It is a chance for me to work with the willing, I believe that God is glorified through this work, and I am energized to be a part of it.

I grew up on a horse ranch in Central Texas and while I’m still a country girl at heart, Fort Worth is home! I originally moved to Granbury about 16 years ago but spent a lot of time enjoying everything Fort Worth has to offer. In 2010 I got married and moved a few hours away for my husband’s job. 3 years later we had our son, Callan. We often talked about moving to Fort Worth one day. Well about 3 years ago I was bored and started browsing for houses in Fort Worth with no real expectations of actually purchasing gone. It just os happened to be the week of my birthday and my husband jokingly said, “Do you want a house for your birthday?” I laughed and started showing him a house I had found online and he insisted I contact the agent so we could see it in person.

Next thing I know, we were buying our first house and moving to Fort Worth after talking about it for years! We have no doubt that we made the right choice and we love raising our son in this unique and amazing city full of small town charm! I’m truly looking forward to helping others find their perfect place to call home and create many happy memories in!

Favorite watering hole in Fort Worth: Well I wish I had a cool answer but I’m a mom of an active 5 year old boy so I don’t get to many watering holes these days. I’m perfectly content hanging out as a family in our backyard while enjoying any drink made by my husband. He makes them better than I do!

What do you love about your job :  Working to help people accomplish a major milestone is a very rewarding and exciting experience. As the saying goes, “choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life”!

Interesting Fact : My husband and I, along with our toddler, spent two and a half years traveling the US for my husbands job. We moved to a new location about every 3 months. People often ask me where my favorite place was that we lived while traveling and I never know how to answer because I left a little piece of my heart at every location. Lake Tahoe and Key West offered a lot of amazing outdoor activities so it may be a tie between those two

Born and raised in San Diego, I landed in Fort Worth in 2013 to attend TCU where I studied Interior Design and Business. While I miss the ocean and mexican food, I absolutely love the small town vibe the city of Fort Worth has. So, I decided to stay! After working for a designer for a year, I got my real estate license to be able to create a career of not only helping people create their dream homes, but also finding people those homes to turn visions into realities.

"My deepest joy comes from pushing others closer to their passions & dreams. Seeing others empowered moves my heart in a special way! I grew up in Belton, TX, a small & quaint town. As a child, my imagination pushed me through life. Taking in what already was, & dreaming up what could be. This propelled me into deep passions for music, mountains, rivers, writing, & listening. It’s incredible what surrounds us everyday that we’re alive! Studies at Dallas Baptist University brought me to Dallas in 2011, & a desire to get involved at The Paradox Church brought me to Fort Worth in 2016. I didn’t know I could love a city the way that I love Fort Worth.

Nowadays my time is filled with playing piano at my church, singing/writing/dancing with my best friends in my band (McAllister), backpacking through wild spaces with my wife, rock climbing, running, & helping friends & new friends navigate the process of buying/selling homes! Can’t wait to meet you!"

Interesting Fact : Post Malone once brought me a beer onstage & told me he loved my style while I was playing a show. It was really random & I didn’t know who he was at the time, but I’m strangely proud of it.

Just a small town girl living in a renovating world. Born in Fort Worth, and grew up in Weatherford. I am the mother to three amazing, spunky, little souls that are my world.

Restoration and design has always been near and dear to my heart, whether it be refinishing furniture or renovating a home. In my early childhood years, I remember driving my mother crazy with the bi-weekly rearranging of furniture or the annual updates of paint color. In addition to decorating and design, I’ve always had a love for real estate and have renovated three of my own homes.

I was born and raised in Houston, fell in love with Fort Worth during my freshman year, and graduated from Texas A&M. After spending 7 years in marketing and administration at an engineering firm, 10 years cycling on the Trinity Trails and many more serving my local community through non-profit engagements, it occurred to me I could merge my worlds into one mega passion project and help people connect with their community through their business ventures just outside my home. I love to dine with friends, take my dog for a jog, celebrate my faith, tackle a new home project, throw parties, and love on my family.
